Nearly one in five (19 percent) visitors in 2014 to Las Vegas indicated they were first time visitors, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. And 47 percent of all visitors said their primary reason for visiting Las Vegas on their trip was vacation or pleasure — up sharply from 41 percent in the previous year.
