There’s sexy.

And then there’s “Sexxy.”

“Sexxy” is in-your-face sexy, but it’s more — it’s high-energy fun and pulses with excitement.

Jennifer Romas is the star of the show — she’s the creator, producer and the woman behind the stylish choreography. She can also dance up a storm. Watch her pure athleticism in a pole routine and you’ll find it hard to believe she sustained devastating injuries in “ICandy.”

While Romas stars in the show at the cabaret theater at Westgate Las Vegas, she’s joined by the beguiling, sultry-voice Gabriella Versace and a cast of multi-talented dancers.

The hard-working, energetic cast revolves through a number of sets and moves through the audience to keep everyone engaged.
In fact, Versace will sometimes pick an audience member to join the routine — if you’re lucky enough to be selected, you’ll find yourself center stage with a close-up view of just how hard these dancers work to entertain.

Of course, you’ll be blindfolded and handcuffed. But if you can muster enough dexterity, you can peek.

“Sexxy” has now logged performance No. 500 during its roughly 30-month run at the Westgate.

It’s a cozy showroom and its simple seating evokes hints of old Vegas in a still-grand hotel that was once the Las Vegas Hilton — and before that, the International.

It’s daring at times, but “Sexxy” is a treat for everyone. Even Romas’ mother was in the audience for one weekend performance.
